4-star mountain retreat with signature Canadian hospitality

Accommodations

The Forest Park Hotel offers two distinctive wings for guests to choose from: the Alpine wing with elevated finishes and a contemporary forest-inspired design and the original Woodland wing, conveniently located near hotel amenities. Pet-friendly rooms are also available, accommodating up to two pets per room for those traveling with furry companions. Spacious layouts include options featuring kitchenettes, balconies, and large bathrooms to enhance the guest experience.

Dining

On-site dining options at the hotel include Hearthstone Lounge and Walter's Dining Room, featuring locally inspired menus. Hearthstone Lounge presents a mountain-inspired dining experience with dishes like Alberta Gouda mac and cheese and Detroit-style deep dish pizza. Walter's Dining Room serves up breakfast choices ranging from hearty meals to inventive twists on classics.

Wellness

Health and wellness amenities at the Forest Park Hotel include a heated pool and hot tub for relaxation after a day spent exploring. Guests can also enjoy spa treatments tailored for rejuvenation and recovery. The inviting wellness offerings make relaxing and unwinding a straightforward process.

Events

The hotel accommodates up to 240 guests in its expansive event spaces, including the versatile Sawridge Ballroom that can be partitioned for smaller gatherings. Couples can host memorable weddings surrounded by the scenic beauty of the Canadian Rockies with personalized event planning services. Business retreats are well-supported with dedicated spaces and on-site catering options to ensure seamless gatherings.

Location

Forest Park Hotel is situated just minutes from downtown Jasper, providing easy access to the natural playground of Jasper National Park. Guests can explore various year-round outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and ice skating. The mountain location offers breathtaking scenery that enhances any adventure.

Highlights

Location: Just minutes from downtown Jasper

Rooms: Accommodations include Alpine and Woodland wings

Dining: Hearthstone Lounge and Walter's Dining Room

Wellness: Heated pool and hot tub

Events: 6,000 square feet of event space

Pet-Friendly: Rooms for traveling pets available

“I see two distinct experiences here. The updated Alpine wing seems the best bet, with genuinely modern amenities and design that makes it feel like the most appealing stay in town; however, older rooms facing the atrium might disappoint due to ventilation issues. Its distance from downtown Jasper could be a drawback in colder months, despite the perks for drivers of electric vehicles.”
